CompuTrainer Workout (CT)
Our indoor cycling training sessions are designed to improve rider fitness by using building blocks of proven training methods. During these sessions we focus on increasing endurance, speed, and strength.
We use interval training based on percentages of rider Functional Threshold Power (FTP), which each participant must test for early in their particpation and re-test periodically as they get stronger. In this way, even a group session is individually tailored to each participant's power level. It never gets easier; you just go faster.
Weekday sessions are 60 minutes; Saturday sessions are 75-90 minutes for the same price.
We recognize (admit to ourselves?) that most cyclists could benefit from other types of workouts, whether to improve our cycling through strengthening our core muscles or just to increase our total-body fitness. These Core Workouts are designed to strengthen, tone, stretch, or otherwise improve a variety of muscle groups. Bring your gym shoes and some water - this one won't be on your bike, and you're going to sweat!
